There’s a good tight fitting shirt, and a bad tight fitting shirt. The difference is exercise. Let’s take a look at the benefits of exercise.
3,500 calories burned = one pound of fat.
The typical workout burns about 300 (weights, yoga, cycling) to maybe 900 (running) calories. To burn a lb of fat you need to burn 3500 calories. Exercising to lose weight is like flying west (from Boston) to get to Europe. You’ll get there eventually; but it’ll take a minute.
Exercise and weight loss are inextricably linked, but unfortunately you can’t out-train a bad diet. It’s not what TV or movies would have us believe. They’re in love with the fitness montage. Shocking. The same industry that wants you to believe Leonardo Dicaprio can play high school basketball wants you to believe you can out-train the western diet.

Great actor? Yes.
Sex symbol? With that physique? Next question.
Hooper? Naaaaaa.
If you’re not exercising to lose weight, then why are you exercising?
What exactly are the benefits of exercise then, if not weight loss?

Here it is. Right here.
Strength looks good on you
Health is the ultimate flex.
Working out looks great on everyone. Theres a good tight fitting shirt; and an unfortunate one. Try it. In just 3 or 4 weeks you’ll see: |
- Better posture
- More muscle (but not too much)
- More confidence
- Higher metabolism
- Better mood
- Better body composition
- Better energy
- More fun
Maybe even weight loss. Yes. It’s inevitable. You may drop a few lbs. Like Michaelangelo said, “David was always there in the marble. I just took away everything that was not David.”

David could wear rags and still look good.
So could you.
You are the sculptor and the clay.
Exercise is the chisel. Use it to strip away everything that isn’t authentically you. 3 to 5 times a week.
You’ll look better.
You’ll feel better.
That tight shirt will look damn good.
We’re here if ya need a little help.
